Is registering my interest a commitment?
No. Joining the Pursuit Soccer interest list is free and does not commit your family, player, team, or coach to participate. Registration simply ensures that you receive updates and an invitation to the upcoming virtual information meeting.
What is the difference between a Pursuit Club Team and a Pursuit Select Team?
A Pursuit Club Team is an existing team that continues to represent its current club and travels with its own coaches and team managers.
A Pursuit Select Team is made up of individual players from across your state and surrounding region. Players will participate in an identification and selection process before final rosters are formed. Pursuit uniforms are provided to all selected players.
What age groups are being considered?
Pursuit Select Team opportunities are currently being planned for boys and girls in the U14 through U17 age groups.
Pursuit Club Team opportunities are currently being planned for boys and girls in the U14 through U19 age groups.
Final eligibility will be based on the applicable tournament rules and confirmed before participation.
What are the estimated program prices?
The current estimated program price is approximately:
- Carnaval Cup: $3,045 plus airfare
- Vildbjerg Cup: $3,000 plus airfare
- Gothia Cup: $3,145 plus airfare
These amounts are estimates and may change as final travel arrangements, accommodations, transportation, exchange rates, and participant totals are confirmed.
What is expected to be included in the program price?
Lodging, meals, and ground transportation are currently expected to be included for the Carnaval Cup, Vildbjerg Cup and Gothia Cup experiences.
Airfare is additional. A complete list of inclusions, exclusions, payment details, and travel arrangements will be provided before families or teams are asked to make a participation commitment.
Can parents and family members travel with the players?
Pursuit Soccer understands that parents and family members may want to travel and experience the trip alongside their player. Family travel packages will be available, with options and details presented during a virtual meeting.
How will Pursuit Select Team players be chosen?
Interested players will follow a defined identification and evaluation process. Pursuit Team coaches will assess players using selection guidelines established by Pursuit Management.
Pursuit Management will make the final participation and staffing decisions.
What safety and supervision procedures will be in place?
Pursuit Soccer and Travel & Play bring more than 50 years of combined experience organizing team travel and have established procedures for player supervision, chaperones, lodging, transportation, communication, and emergency situations.
Complete policies, procedures, and expectations will be reviewed with families before anyone is asked to commit to participation.
